Gondosóra Program

The Gondosóra Program is a government-initiated service in Hungary that provides a free, 24/7 emergency response system for citizens aged 65 and over with a permanent residence in Hungary. The service includes a wearable alert device, supported by a dispatcher center and designated contact persons, through which help can be summoned at the push of a button in case of emergency or need. This program marks a milestone in elderly care by leveraging digital innovation to provide free support without requiring residential care. It engages the senior’s immediate environment and is completely free of charge, significantly contributing to relieving the burden on emergency services.

The Place where Conversations Happen: MCC Feszt to Feature Hot Topics Panels on Immigration, Brexit, and the Culture Wars
Once again, MCC Feszt will welcome visitors to Esztergom from July 31 to August 2 with exciting professional and musical programs and renowned Hungarian and international speakers. Among the highlights of the multi-day cultural and public event are appearances by Dominic Cummings, one of the key figures of the Brexit referendum and former chief adviser to Boris Johnson; bestselling author and immigration policy expert Ayaan Hirsi Ali; and Jim Robb, co-founder of NumbersUSA, an organization focused on reducing both legal and illegal immigration to the United States. The music program will feature popular Hungarian artists such as Irie Maffia, T. Danny, and BSW.
